Hey Everyone!
If you are a student, you probably already know a lot about me, but you can read on if you like. My name is Justine Diaz and I am currently a student at California Baptist University pursuing a Master's in Education. I fell in love with teaching when I taught English oversees in Tongxiang, China. That unforgettable experience made me realize that teaching can be an impactful and rewarding career. I returned every year up until the pandemic when the program was no longer able to continue. While working on a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts I was a special education aide for the adult transition program at AB Miller High. There I learned the diverse range of student needs and how to support all students. After our program was moved to Eric Birch Continuation school I never knew I would someday return to where it all began. After gaining my Bachelor's I became a resident substitute at Eric Birch High where I taught students in a Biology classroom. It was then that I discovered my love for science and pursued a Biology credential. My classroom is very hands on and uses real life phenomena as examples when discussing scientific concepts. If you are a student, I am so happy to have you in my class. Your presence is valued. If you are a parent and have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out at Diazjs@fusd.net. Hablo espanol. ÎÒ˵ÖÐÎÄ.
See you in the Lab!
Justine Diaz
