Please be respectful of the library!
We welcome everyone and expect Skyhawks to follow school rules while in the library, both during and after school.
Reminder, that food and drink ARE NOT allowed in the library.
School Books, Calculators, Novels and Laptop Check Out
- Students need their student ID card to check out material from the school library.
- If needed replacements can be purchased through the bookkeeper for $5.00.
- Each item is checked out to students individually. Students are responsible for returning the exact barcoded item at the end of the semester or school year, except for their laptop (Student leaving the district are required to return their laptop and charger.)
Library Fees
Log into your through Classlink to see what is checked out your library account. (See what is out to you as well as check on fine status.)

- Library fees must be paid to the ASB bookkeeper AND the receipt is to be shown to one of the librarians for fees to be cleared.
- Fees are not cleared until librarian has seen the receipt and adjusted the fee on Destiny.
Library Use During Class
** All students MUST have a valid pass from the teacher or staff member when in the library during class time. **
Computer Use and Printing
- Desktop computers are to be used by one student at a time and are monitored by library staff.
- Printing is available through the library computers but must be school appropriate and not done in excess.
- No color printing is available.
County Library
- Summit Library is a join0use facility with the San Bernardino County Library.
- A county library card is needed to check out library books on the shelves (see school librarian for an application, library cards are free and provide access to the county’s digital library.)
Library Materials

- Due Dates: For semester long courses, library materials are due before winter break. For yearlong courses, materials are due before the end of the school year. Students will be informed of due dates and fines each semester and prior to school events requiring a library clearance.
- Check Out: Students must present their student ID school library item check out. Students are responsible for all barcoded items, including laptops (and charger), textbooks, novels, and calculators.
- Lost/Damaged Materials: Each student is responsible for their textbooks and damages or loss of materials. Damaged charges will be issued according to .
One to One Laptops
All students must have completed the following to receive a laptop:
- Student Acceptable Use Agreement & Laptop Form (activates student account and log-in)
- Annual Parent Notification (provides access to online programs like Classlink and Q)

Computer Log-In
If you are new to the district, your computer login will be the following:
Username: student ID#
Password: 8-digit birthday lowercase 1st initial (ex. First name: Summit, Birthday: August 1, 2007 will be entered as 08012007s)
If you attended a school in the FUSD district, your login will be the following:
Username: student ID#
Password: student-created password (computer login password)
