Assistant Principal

Hello Primrose Families, 

My name is Belinda Gutierrez, and I am honored to announce that I will be joining Primrose Elementary as your new Assistant Principal. I am excited to work alongside Dr. McClain to support our school in continuing to be the best elementary school in Fontana where students are safe and enjoy learning.

As a product of the public school system (LAUSD), I was fortunate to earn a degree in Mathematics and a master's in education from California State University, Dominguez Hills. My educational journey began as a high school math teacher for 11 years in LAUSD, followed by 5 years as a Math Coach. I also served as an Assistant Principal at Palmetto Elementary and currently coordinate the Online Learning program for ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥.

My goal is to be a resource and support system to ensure that our students come to a safe school where they can enjoy their learning experience. I look forward to continuing the tradition of success and strengthening our community partnerships. It is with great humility and respect that I accept this position, knowing that the success of students requires a collective effort from all of us.

I look forward to working together as a team to help our students achieve their educational goals.
