October 8, 2019, Fontan California. Henry J. Kaiser Theatre Department proudly presents Wizard of Oz! The mythic journey of Dorothy Gale, (Serena Davis). The story opens in the bleak landscape of Kansas. Dorothy, a young girl, lives in a little house with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and her little dog, Toto. One day, when a tornado sweeps through the prairie, Dorothy is unable to make it to the storm shelter, and her little house is swept up in the tornado. When the storm is over, Dorothy steps out, but she is no longer in Kansas. Instead, she finds herself in Munchkin County, a place in the magical land of Oz..She embarks on magical journey with her three friends Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion, ( Aaron Gomez, Abigail Pineda, and Britney Gomez Landeros), to find her way home.
Other cast members include Amanda Zierden as Glinda, Alexis Limas as The Wicked Witch of the West and Nicholas Wise as The Wizard. Ensemble includes: Sommer Hastings, Addison Landeros, Giselle Albavera, Tito Aragon, Ronoldo Chavarria, Destinee Galvez, Alyssa Rodriguez, Toni Smith, Adolfo Alcaraz, Cali Baldonado, Kameron Monesterre, Alma Apollo, Jenalei Bohorquez,Marisella Luna, Caitlin Scarlatella, Haley Bauer, Natalie Valdez, and Marina and Matthew Davis
The Wizard of Oz plays October 17,18,19,24,25 at 7pm at the Kaiser MPR Theatre
Tickets are $8 presale and $12 at the door
