• Information Security

    The main responsibility of the Information Security team is to create a district-wide culture of information security and student data privacy awareness. It advises departments and schools about data security and privacy issues. The team develops and maintains districtwide policies and practices that are in compliance with state and federal student privacy laws. The team also is responsible for vetting websites and online applications that schools or departments may want to adopt to foster student learning.
