Having Issues with Teams?
Update Teams via ClassLink
Students and teachers can download the latest version of Microsoft Teams from within ClassLink.
If you have already followed the recommended steps to troubleshoot Microsoft Teams:
- Signing out and signing back in
- Restarting the computer
- Closing the Teams App and re-launching
Check the version of the Teams app by clicking on your profile picture at the top right. Scroll down to "About" and click on "Version" to prompt a banner with version details which will appear below the search bar at the top of the screen.
Using the image below as a reference, if you have a "32-bit" version of Teams, follow the steps below to update your Teams app to the "64-bit" version of Teams.
Step 1. Log into ClassLink and select “Teams Install”.
Step 2. Select “Download Teams” to begin the installation.
Step 3. When the download is complete, select the downloaded Teams file from the bottom left to initiate the installation. Note: If the Teams application is open while running this installation, Teams will go through a quick reload.
Step 4. Open the desktop version of Teams, click on your profile picture on the top left and select "Check for Updates".
Step 5. After you click on "Check for Updates", please wait 10 minutes and then restart your device to finalize the update.
