At Kaiser High School, we offer a wide range of academic programs to cater to the diverse interests and aspirations of our students:

• Advanced Placement (AP) Courses: Our AP program allows students to take college-level courses and exams, potentially earning college credit while still in high school. Some of our courses include AP Capstone, AP Calculus, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Human Geography*, and many more. Here is the complete list of AP courses offered at Kaiser. Most AP courses offered are for students in grades 10-12.   

  *AP Human Geography is the only course students in grade 9 are eligible to enroll in.*  

   
• Honors Courses: For students seeking an additional challenge, our honors courses offered in English, Math, and Science provide an enriched curriculum for students in grades 9 and 10, fostering critical thinking and an in-depth understanding of course content.  

• Career and Technical Education (CTE): ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ offers a variety of courses in the CTE Program. The CTE courses offered at Kaiser High School include Culinary, Auto, Theatre, and TV Production. These classes equip students with practical skills and knowledge and include hands-on learning experiences for our students. Kaiser students can also enroll in CTE courses hosted at other school sites. Students can speak to their counselor for more details. 

• Fine Arts: We have a vibrant arts program that includes courses in visual arts, music, theatre, TV production, and band and colorguard. Students can showcase their creativity through performances and competitions.

• Dual Enrollment: The Dual Enrollment program is a partnership between the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ and Chaffey College. It allows high school students to concurrently enroll in college-level courses while pursuing their high school diploma. By participating in this program, Kaiser High School students will have the opportunity to take independent study college-level courses and, if successful, earn transferable credits all before graduating from high school. We offer dual enrollment in partnership with Chaffey College, allowing students to earn high school and college credits simultaneously. This program accelerates students' educational journeys and provides a head start on post-secondary education.

• AVID: AVID is a college prep elective that prepares students for college and career.  AVID students are encouraged to take honors/advanced placement courses in addition to the AVID elective class. 

To ensure that every student can thrive, Kaiser High School provides a range of support services:

• Counseling Department: Our counselors assist students with academic planning, college and career guidance, and personal support, helping them navigate their high school journey and prepare for the future. Students are encouraged to visit and communicate with their counselors as they navigate through their four years at Kaiser. Students can find their assigned counselor on their Q student profile or by visiting the counseling channel on the school website. The counseling department is located on the second floor of the Administration Building A.

• Special Education: We offer services to support students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive a quality education tailored to their needs.

• Tutoring and Academic Support: Kaiser offers academic support for students to provide additional help in various subjects. Students can receive tutoring from one of our teachers on campus or use district-provided resources such as Paper Tutoring, which helps students overcome challenges and achieve academic success. Kaiser High School is proud to offer several leadership programs, including Link Crew, ASB, and Renaissance, that empower students to take on significant roles within the school community and beyond. These programs are available as year-long courses students can enroll in during the school year.

• Link Crew: This 9th-grade mentor program helps incoming freshmen transition smoothly into high school. Upperclassmen leaders learn to support and guide freshmen throughout their first year, fostering a welcoming and supportive school environment.

• Student Executive Leadership Program (ASB): Our Associated Student Body (ASB) program offers students the chance to develop their leadership skills by organizing school events, managing student activities, and representing the student body. ASB leaders gain valuable experience in event planning, public speaking, and teamwork.

• Renaissance: The Renaissance program recognizes and rewards student achievements in academics, attendance, and behavior. By promoting a culture of excellence, Renaissance encourages students to strive for their best and acknowledges their hard work and dedication.

• JROTC: The Kaiser High School Army JROTC Battalion program teaches citizenship, leadership, teamwork, commitment to community, career objectives, and responsibility as young adults. The program aims to prepare our cadets for life's challenges beyond high school. High school cadets are not required to join the military. Less than 5% of cadets go on to a military career. However, JROTC cadets who have completed 3 years in the program who join the military do so at a higher rank.

Kaiser High School also offers a variety of extracurricular activities to support the holistic development of our students:

• Athletics: Our athletic program includes a wide range of sports students can participate in during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Visit the athletics page to view a listing of sports offered at Kaiser. As a staff, we aim for each student-athlete to grow physically and emotionally. Participating in sports helps students develop teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills.

• Clubs: Kaiser offers a variety of clubs where students can explore interests in areas such as the Theatre, Folkolico, Black Student Union (BSU), Academic Decathlon (ACADECA), Anime, and more. These clubs provide leadership opportunities and foster a sense of community.
