Alma and Katherine Graduates NROTC New Student Indoctrination 2024

Congratulations to Midshipman Alma and Katherine on graduating from NROTC New Student Indoctrination (NSI) Cycle 3 at Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) Great Lakes, Illinois. We are proud of you!

Alma Sets Fontana Record

Graduating Senior Alma Negrete finishes #8 in the Senior Division and #17 overall in the country at the 2024 Junior Olympics and CMP Nationals at Camp Perry, Ohio. In only three year (freshmen year COVID), Alma earned 23 Excellence In Competition (EIC) points making her the highest in Fontana history, only 7 points shy of the Gold Distinguished Shooter Badge. Alma secured a Navy ROTC Scholarship and will attend Norwich University this fall to pursue her goal of becoming a Medical Officer in the Navy.

Alma Negrete 2024 Junior Olympic & CMP National Qualifier

Senior Alma Negrete is set to return to the Junior Olympics and CMP National Marksmanship Championship this June. She aims to build on her previous achievements from last summer, where she led the team and secured 8th place in the Junior Olympics and 4th place in the CMP Nationals.
