Mrs. Gamboa is a dedicated teaching professional who is committed to enriching the science curriculum with hands-on labs and activities. She graduated with honors from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Geology (2005), she holds a Master’s in curriculum from Cal State East Bay (2012) and a Master’s in Environmental Geology from Cal State East Bay (2017). She is currently a member of the NGSS Core Leadership team to work toward developing a strategic plan for district-wide implementation of NGSS. Ms. Gamboa is entering her second year of collaboration with a non-profit organization, Strategic Energy Innovation (SEI) which provides no cost supplies and curriculum to the classroom. Their mission and vision are building leaders to drive climate solutions and work toward a sustainable world where communities thrive.
