Mr. Mack has been an English teacher in various school districts since 1984 after graduating with a B.A. in Literature from Point Loma College and obtaining a teaching credential from California State University in San Bernardino. He spent 15 years coaching boys’ and girls’ basketball at Bloomington High School, Colton High School, Big Bear High School, Rialto High School, and Ramona High School. His post graduate studies have been focused on Multiple Intelligences, Reading Specialist courses, and Writing Across the Curriculum. Mr. Mack has conducted teacher training workshops in the teaching of writing while at Fontana High School, has taught Language for Success to low level readers, Advanced Language and Composition to higher achieving students, and has served as the Vertical Team Leader for the Honors and Advanced Placement Program at Fontana High School. Mr. Mack came to Birch High School on an inter-district transfer during the 2015 to 2016 school year.
