Ivanamia Cobian with the Board of Education

Ivanamia Cobian, a six grader at North Tamarind Elementary School, was selected to lead the Board of Education in the Pledge of Allegiance.

"Ivanamia is a stellar student at North Tamarind. She is an exemplar of what it means to be respectful, responsible, trustworthy and fair. Ivanamia has served as student council classroom representative and is a natural leader. She has supporting parents and she in turn she positively supports other students. Her winning smile alone can brighten anyone’s day and she has a sunny disposition (even in the most challenging situations).
